People's Postcode Trust gave £4689 towards the creation of a
large new community orchard at Ardeer Quarry, which will consist
of over 100 fruit trees and provide local people with a new source of
free, fresh fruit.
Tesco Bags of Help gave £3993 toward the installation of hundreds of
metres of chespale fencing in aid of creating new sand
dunes at Stevenston Beach.
Heritage Lottery Fund funded a series of public invertebrate
survey events, a solitary bee identification workshop and the
equipment necessary to create the Scottish Pollinators website.
Postcode Local Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely
by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Our project received
£13,886 from the Trust to
expand our community orchard
and create a large pollinator nesting bank nearby.

Awards for All funded a series of public invertebrate surveys,

The Central Scotland Geen Network funded the creation of
a shrub layer in Ardeer Quarry's main woodland.
CSV Action Earth funded the purchase of entomological
recording equipment as well as loppers and saws.
The Big Lottery Fund provided us with a grant to buy
entomological recording equipment.
The People's Postcode Trust funded the creation of an
orchard at Ardeer Quarry LNR.
